Industrialist questioned in Kodanad case

Coimbatore: Continuing its interrogation spree, the special police team investigating the Kodanad heist-cum-murder case on Wednesday questioned chairman and managing director of Madurai-based Milan Textile Enterprises Pvt Ltd Lalji Vora at PRS Ground in the city. Lalji Vora was quizzed for more than three hours by the special team, police sources said.
He was summoned by the special team based on documents seized by the income tax department during a search conducted at the Shylee Niwas apartment in Chennai in 2017. His son Amar Vora is the director of Milan’em Mall. He was quizzed by the income tax department after documents showed that he had entered into an agreement to sell the mall to former chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s close aide V Sasikala. tnn
