Sonia Gandhi likely to appear before ED on July 21

NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi is likely to appear before the ED on July 21 when she has been summoned for questioning in the National Herald case.
When asked, sources said, “As of now, she will go. But it’s subject to medical advice. ”
Sonia had earlier sought deferment of her deposition owing to Covid infection and then for medical advice. Also, a meeting on Thursday of Congress state incharges and party presidents, called to discuss Bharat Jodo Yatra, may also deliberate on possible protests against “the misuse of agencies by the BJP government” next week.
