Kazakhstan's January-June GDP rises 3.4% y/y

NUR-SULTAN : Kazakhstan's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 3.4 per cent year-on-year in the period from January to June, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said on Thursday.

In early April, Kazakhstan lowered its 2022 GDP growth forecast to 2.1 per cent from 3.9 per cent. GDP grew by 4.0 per cent in 2021, after a fall of 2.6 per cent in 2020.
