Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 3.18 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.80 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.57 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.48 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.07 crore), ONGC(number of shares traded: 0.98 crore), (number of shares traded: 0.96 crore), Delta Corp(number of shares traded: 0.94 crore), HCL Tech(number of shares traded: 0.80 crore) and Brightcom Group(number of shares traded: 0.74 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 74.65 points up at 16132.95, while BSE Sensex was up 245.15 points at 54131.76 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.86 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent), .(up 1.59 per cent), .(up 1.50 per cent) and .(up 1.46 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 1.36 per cent), .(down 1.32 per cent), .(down 0.55 per cent), .(down 0.37 per cent) and .(down 0.26 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
