NASHIK: Shiv Sena MP from Nashik Hemant Godse said on Tuesday that BJP was a natural ally of Shiv Sena, unlike the "unnatural alliance" of the Maha Vikas Aghadi, and urged Sena president Uddhav Thackeray to go with the BJP once again. Godse accused the NCP of trying to create obstacles in projects in constituencies held by the Sena.

"The Sena-BJP alliance was a natural alliance. Sena has traditionally fought the NCP at the ground level. Decades-old rivalries do not end in five years. If we continue with the MVA alliance, what will our Sena candidates do? This is the biggest question that will arise. So, with regard to an alliance with BJP or if Eknath Shinde desires to come back to the party... we requested Uddhavji to accept him back in the party fold," Godse said.
