Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 10:19AM

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.20%), & Petrochemicals(up 1.02%), G S F C(up 0.85%), National Fertilizer(up 0.80%), KRISHANA(up 0.74%), Madras Fertlizers(up 0.65%), Coromandel International(up 0.52%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.39%), Fertilizers (up 0.27%) and & Fertilizers(up 0.06%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 1.52%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.12%), & Fertilizers(down 0.98%), Aries Agro(down 0.45%), & Chemicals(down 0.27%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.17%), & Fertilizers(down 0.10%) and ZUARIAGRO(down 0.10%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 67.6 points up at 16125.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 182.2 points at 54068.81 at around 10:19AM.

Hindustan Unilever(up 1.9%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.62%), Asian Paints(up 1.57%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.41%), Infosys(up 1.38%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.35%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.33%), Grasim Industries(up 1.28%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.17%) and Bajaj Finance(up 1.17%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank(down 1.49%), HCL Technologies(down 1.29%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.65%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.63%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 0.37%), Reliance Industries(down 0.37%), HDFC Bank(down 0.35%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.2%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.1%) and Tata Consultancy(down 0.09%) were trading in the red.
