Gujarat: Vadodara reports 45 new Covid-19 cases

VADODARA: The Vadodara city and district put together reported 45 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday. The cases were reported from 2,116 tests conducted during the 24 hours ending on Wednesday evening.
The fresh cases include 41 from Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) limits and four from areas outside the VMC limits. Against this 60 persons were discharged on Wednesday in the city and district.
The fresh cases in the city include 21 from the west zone of the VMC followed by 10 from the north zone. The east zone saw six new cases while the south zone reported four fresh cases.
After the discharges on Wednesday, 327 active cases remained in the city and district. These include 10 hospitalised Covid-19 patients out of which one needed oxygen support while the remaining were on room air with mild symptoms.
