ReutersNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Wednesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, (12.68%), RS Software(12.35%), Balaji Telef(11.68%), Onward Tech(11.33%), Parag Milk Foods(10.93%), Swarnsarita Gems(10.89%) and KEC Int.(10.15%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 53.84 points up at 53940.45, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 17.95 points to 16076.25.
In the Nifty 50 index, 33 stocks traded in the green, while 17 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , Maximus Intl., , and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , MIC Electronics, and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
