Madhya Pradesh: Voting ends peacefully in Khandwa district

According to the information received, 73.7 per cent voting took place in Pandhana municipal council till 5 pm, in which 70.4 per cent women and 77.1 per cent men exercised their franchise.

Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh): The second phase of three-tier panchayat polls concluded in a peaceful manner in Khandwa district on Wednesday. In the second phase, voting for Mundi and Pandhana municipal council was held.

According to the information received, 73.7 per cent voting took place in Pandhana municipal council till 5 pm, in which 70.4 per cent women and 77.1 per cent men exercised their franchise.

In Mundi municipal council, 74.9 per cent voting took place in which 72.7 per cent women and 77.1 per cent men exercising their franchise.

Election observer Krishna Mohan Gautam continuously inspected the polling work.

Gautam visited various polling stations in Mundi and Pandhana, where he took stock of the election process and instructed the officers and employees involved in the election work to complete the work with fairness and fearlessness as per the instructions of the State Election Commission.
