Lucknow: BJP leaders, cadre celebrate defence minister Rajnath Singh's birthday

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the birthday of Lucknow MP and defence minister Rajnath Singh on Monday. Public representatives and workers offered prayers for Singh’s good health and long life. Functionaries of Lucknow unit recited ‘Sundar Kand’ and ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ at Hanuman Setu temple. A huge ‘laddu’ cake was cut after the ‘aarti’ by deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak, in the presence of Lucknow’s BJP unit president and MLC Mukesh Sharma and MLA and former minister Ashutosh Tandon.
