Rs 16 lakh looted in Bihar's Madhepura

MADHEPURA: Four armed criminals looted Rs 16 lakh from an employee of a private finance firm in Madhepura town on Monday. The incident happened around 10:30am when Chandan Kumar Mishra was on way to a bank to deposit the cash.
Chandan said four criminals on two bikes dashed against his motorcycle from behind and he fell down. The criminals snatched his bag containing the cash at gunpoint and escaped before the passersby could understand anything.
Police sources said CCTV footages of the area were being scrutinised to identify the criminals. No one has been arrested till late Monday evening.
