Indore (Madhya Pradesh): National Testing Agency has expanded the exam window of Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)], a gateway to after-school courses offered by 90 universities -- including all central varsities and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya.
"NTA will be conducting CUET (UG) from July 15 to August 20 (excluding the days of other undergraduate examinations) at different examination centres located in 500 cities across India and 10 cities outside India," a public notice issued by NTA reads.
Previous public notice stated that this would be conducted in a 10-day window from July 15 to July 20 (barring July 18) and then from August 4 to August 10 (excluding August 9).
The latest notice says that the CUET (UG) has been scheduled for approximately 14.90 lakh candidates, with approximately 8.10 lakh candidates in the first slot and approximately 6.80 lakh candidates in the second slot.
The candidates have applied for 54,555 unique combinations of subjects across 90 universities.
"In view of a large number of subjects, the unique date sheet to every individual candidate has been created. Accordingly, advance intimation slip for examination city to all candidates with the date of examination and city of examination is being issued on https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. The candidates are required to check/download the same using their application number and date of birth from the website," NTA notice states.
The city intimation slip for each candidate has information relating to the subjects/language / medium offered in Slot 1 and Slot 2 as well the date and city allotted.
Candidates who have opted for Physics, Chemistry or Biology have been taken to Phase II, keeping in view the NEET (UG) - 2022 being held on July 17 (Sunday).
The admit card of Phase I showing the details of the examination centre will be available for download from 6 P.M on July 12 onwards.
"Every effort has been taken to provide candidates their choice of city. Nonetheless, if there is any issue with respect to change of city or difficulty in downloading the city intimation slip or the admit card, the candidate may call NTA at 011-40759000 or send an email at cuetug@nta.ac.in," the NTA notice says.
The practice questions for all the subjects / languages / General Test covered under CUET (UG) – 2022 are available at http://203.122.47.149:7999/.
