22 flights from Ahmedabad airport delayed

AHMEDABAD: At least 22 flights were delayed from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport in Ahmedabad on Sunday night following heavy rainfall. These include flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Goa and Indore. Besides, two international flights to Dubai and Sharjah were also delayed by at least three hours due to poor visibility. Meanwhile, two flights arriving at Ahmedabad were diverted to Jaipur as these flights could not land at the city airport.
