The AIADMK office's security was beefed up on Tuesday, July 12, in Chennai, where a clash broke out yesterday between supporters of E Palaniswami and O Paneerselvam, on the sidelines of the party's general council meeting led by Palaniswami.
On Monday, Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) was elected its interim general secretary and O Panneerselvam (OPS) was expelled from the primary membership.
The party headquarters were also “sealed” by the revenue authorities following a clash between their supporters in a span of five hours on Monday.
