Members elected to four HDMC standing committees

Hubballi: Elections were held to the four standing committees of the Hubballi-Dhawad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) Council on Monday.
The ruling BJP and the Congress, which is in the opposition, arrived at an understanding on sharing the spots on the four panels.
While the saffron party got four seats on each panel, the Congress bagged three. Given below are the members of the four standing committees of the HDMC:
Taxation, finance and appeals: Shivanand Menasinakai, Chandrika Mestri, Satish Surendra Hanagal, Saraswati Dhongadi, Imamhussain Eligar, Manjunath Badakuri, Mohmed Ilyas Maniyar.
Public health, education and social justice: Kavita Danappa Kabber, Sunita Burabure, Prakash Ningappa Kurahatti, Shivappa alias Anand Yavagal, Bedare Suresh, Bijawad Durgamma Shashikant, Mahadevappa Nargund.
Town planning and development: Geeta Manjunath Hosamani, Rajashekhar Kamati, Mangalamma Mohan Hiremani, Vijayanand S Shetti, Kishan Belagavi, Pooja Shejawadkar, Shankar Shelke.
Accounts: Akshata Asundi, Ganesh Mudhol, Sandilkumar S, Radhabai Safare, Laxmibai Hindasageri, Anita Chalageri and Roopa Shetti.
Regional commissioner Amlan Aditya Biswas announced the results. Mayor Iresh Anchatageri, HDMC Commissioner B Gopal Krishna were among those who were present during the elections.
