Final ward-wise voters' list of NMMC to be published on July 16

Initially, the civic body was set to publish the final voters' list on July 9 but was deferred due to unspecified reasons.

The final ward-wise voter lists for Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) election will be published on July 16.

Initially, the civic body was set to publish the final voters' list on July 9. The deadline was extended due to some issue, said a senior civic official.

The civic body had extended the deadline for submitting objections and suggestions on ward-wise draft voters from July 1 to July 3, 2022.

NMMC received around 1650 suggestions and objections till July 3 and it was supposed to publish the final draft voters' lists by July 9 which now has been deferred to July 16.

As per the draft voter lists, the total number of voters is 9,08,433 of which 62,909 voters have been excluded due to various reasons.

The total number of voters is now 8,45,524 of which 4,69,524 are male voters and 3,75,944 are female voters and 56 other voters are considered.
