5 Sampark centres opened to provide Aadhaar-related services

Chandigarh: To facilitate city residents, the department of information technology, Chandigarh Administration started Aadhar related services for citizens by opening five Sampark centres on Sunday.
Despite heavy rainfall, people turned up to avail aadhar-related services in these centres.
Director, information technology Rupesh Kumar visited the centres on the first day on Sunday and directed the staff to make them more citizen-friendly by providing necessary infrastructure like potable drinking water, clean washrooms, chairs for visitors etc. He also requested people to spread awareness among fellow citizens to avail these services.
The Aadhar related services were started at Sampark Centre of Manimajra, Industrial Area phase 1 as well as sectors 27, 21 and 40. The facility will be available on Sunday between 9am and 5pm.
The authority has received multiple aadhar related queries.
