296 new cases in Hry, 157 in Pb & 71 in HP

Chandigarh: Haryana on Sunday reported 296 new cases of Covid-19 and 290 recoveries and 157 fresh cases surfaced in Punjab. Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh reported one death and 71 positive cases of Covid-19.
The cumulative Covid count of Haryana reached 10,19,732 cases, 10,07,158 recoveries, 10,628 deaths and 1,923 active cases. Of the total active cases, only 75 are hospitalised. Himachal, on the other hand, has now total of 2,87,535 confirmed positive cases of which 1,139 cases are active, 2,82,253 patients have recovered while 4,124 patients have died. So far, a total 47,16,216 persons have been tested for Covid-19 till date, of which 44,28,681 persons have been tested negative. Since 7pm on Saturday, total 655 samples were tested in Himachal.
On the vaccination front, the first dose was given to 272 in Haryana while second dose was given to 1,301 persons and booster dose to 5,097 persons. In Punjab 4,436 beneficiaries got the vaccine. tnn
