Colombo, July 10: Three persons have been arrested by the Kollupitiya Police in connection with the arson attack on Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe's private house in Colombo last night, Sri Lankan police said.

Sri Lanka's President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will step down on July 13 following violent protests in the capital. Demonstrators stormed the president's official residence and set fire to the prime minister's home in Colombo on Saturday.
