Unlike all the previous seasons of Kaun Banega Crorepati so far, makers have added a new ‘happy’ twist to the game in the 14th season. In a new promo shared by the channel, the makers show the grand amount they’ll get to take home if they fail to answer Rs 7.5 crore jackpot question.
While previously, if failed to answer Rs 1 crore or Rs 7.5 crore question, the winning prize money amount would drop to Rs 3 lakh 20 thousand. In the upcoming seasons, if after winning Rs. 1 crore, the contestant attempts the Rs 7.5 crore question and fails to answer, they will take home Rs. 75 lakh.

Initially, prior to Rs 1 crore question came Rs. 50 lakh question. But in the current season, they have added another – Rs 75 lakh.
Sharing the promo, they wrote, “Iss saal KBC mein hoga kuch naya, jackpot hoga ₹7.5 Crores ka aur judega ₹75 lakh ka ek naya padaav. #KBC2022 coming soon! Stay tuned!”

In the promo, host Amitabh Bachchan says that on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence, KBC is adding this new step in the questionnaire.

This season focuses on the tagline - 'Gyaan jahaan se mile bator lo, lekin pehle tatol lo'. (Accumulate knowledge but verify the genuineness of news and facts)

Kaun Banega Crorepati has been airing on TV since 2000. Last year, the show celebrated the milestone of 1000 episodes with host Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda onboard.
