341 new Covid cases in Haryana, 201 in Punjab & 179 in Himachal Pradesh

CHANDIGARH/SHIMLA: Haryana on Saturday reported 341 new Covid-19 cases and 319 recoveries and Himachal Pradesh reported 179 new cases of Covid-19 with 88 recoveries. Meanwhile Punjab reported 201 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday
The cumulative Covid count of Haryana has gone to 10,19,436 cases, 10,06,868 recoveries, 10,628 deaths and 1,917 active cases. Of the total active cases, 69 are hospitalised, while rest are in home isolation. Himachal’s overall Covid tally of 2,87,464 includes 2,82,221 recoveries, 1,101 active cases, and 4,123 deaths.
Punjab’s overall Covid tally of 7,64,513 includes 7,45,581 recoveries, 17,784 deaths, and 1,148 active cases with a positivity rate of 1.67%.
In Haryana, Gurgaon reported highest 159 cases, followed by 35 cases in Panchkula, 30 in Ambala, 27 in Faridabad, 25 in Karnal, 18 in Sirsa, 15 in Hisar, seven in Kaithal, five each in Charkhi Dadri and Yamunanagar, four in Kurukshetra, three in Jind, two each in Fatehabad, Mahendergarh and Bhiwani, and one each in Rohtak and Jhajjar.
On the vaccination front, first dose was given to 1,276 persons in Haryana, second to 6,145 and booster dose to 16,827.
