BJP leaders will join Congress: Satish Jarkiholi

BELAGAVI: Karnataka state Congress working president Satish Jarkiholi said many leaders, including some from the BJP, will join the Congress after January.
He was speaking to the media on Saturday in the Gokak taluk of Belagavi district when he claimed that the Congress was ahead in survey reports for forming the government in the state, but “we will not just rely on the surveys. Considering the political gain, many leaders will come to the Congress,” he said.
The Yamanakaradi Congress MLA said that leaders who had left the party to join the BJP will also return after January.
He said the central government should have taken proper precautions for Amarnath pilgrims, many of whom died in a cloudburst.
