Mescom: Ignore messages on disconnection

Mangaluru: The Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (Mescom) has requested consumers not to heed messages on electricity supply disconnection for not paying the bills as it had sent no such message to any consumer.
Mescom said it had not sent any message to its consumers. Consumers are requested to pay their electricity bill through the Nanna Mescom app, Mangaluru One, at a nearby Mescom office, or through other digital payment modes. If anyone receives messages, they should report it to the Mescom helpline 1912, the power supplier said.
