Jaipur: Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) is coming up with a unique initiative “Unnati” to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of its two-year MBA programme students with psychometric tests.
"This year for the two-year MBA program we are starting with 100 pilot students, as it will help them improvise on their personal and professional life," said Payal Pitliya, head of Learning and development, IIMU.
She said that with “Unnati” we will analyze the kind of behaviour students are reflecting, self-limiting beliefs, etc. In Unnati, the students open up to their coaches and the coach helps them explore/guide while learning about the transformational journey of an MBA graduate.
She claimed that IIMU is the only IIM to have a dedicated L&D team where experts from the industry and the best of the professionals/coaches train students to move on to the next level of their professional as well as personal lives.
The IIMU is also working on a “Budweiser” model where they have 5 mentees to calm the initial anxiety of students coming to the campus and to create bonds with the batch where seniors guide their juniors. Currently, there are 83 Budweisers within the batch.
