All candidates at the test centres that experienced technological difficulties and were unable to complete the NET exam have been given a new date for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2022 exam, which was originally scheduled to be administered on the first shift of June 9, 2022.
“Due to technical issues the examination scheduled on 9 July 2022 Shift-1 could not be conducted at following Exam Centres in the country. The shift II went off smoothly,” stated the circular published by the NTA.
Additionally, the NTA advised the candidates that the new exam date and UGC NET admit card would be posted immediately on the NTA website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. It also stated that the timetable for the second phase of the UGC NET 2022, broken down into subjects and shifts, would be released soon.
The UGC NET 2022 exam on June 9, shift 1 could not take place in the following exam centers:
KIPM College of Engineering and Technology, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh
National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kozhikode, Kerala
United Institute of Technology, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh
JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Government Polytechnic Munger, Munger, Bihar
Government Women's Polytechnic, Muzaffarpur, Bihar
Gyanmanjari Institute of Technology, Bhavnagar
The NTA urged the applicants to frequently check its websites for the most recent information on the UGC NET exam and to get in touch with its help line if they had any questions. NTA is to hold its combined UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles on July 9, 11, 12, and August 12, 13, and 14, 2022.
