Body with injury marks found in Greater Noida

GREATER NOIDA: An unidentified body was found near a house in an empty plot at Jalpura in the Ecotech 3 area, Greater Noida. The body, which has multiple injury marks has been sent by police for autopsy.
Locals informed the police about the body at 6am. Nothing has been found in the deceased’s pocket. Police said he had head injuries.
Vinod Kumar, the SHO of the Ecotech 3 police station said, “We have sent the body for autopsy and reports are awaited. The body has multiple injuries. It looks like he was badly beaten up and dumped four days ago. Blood oozed out from his ear too. Cops are checking the CCTV footage from the nearby areas and trying to identify the body. An FIR will be lodged after the postmortem report arrives,” he said.
