RANCHI: Minister for department of drinking water and sanitation (DWSD) Mithilesh Thakur said the government is committed to provide clean drinking water to each household.
“We have to work with responsibility and I would urge everyone present here, including senior officials of our department, engineers as well as contractors to work together so that we are able to achieve the targets set under Jal Jeevan Mission of the Government of India,” said Thakur while addressing a two-day state-level workshop organised by his department.
Asked about the coverage of tap connection in the state, Thakur said they have achieved 21% of the target and hoping to complete it by 2024.
