GURUGRAM: Two persons have been arrested for allegedly murdering a 30-year-old man in Manesar's Khoh village on Thursday evening. The duo were arrested from Hayatpur road and have been identified as Devdutt alias Dev (20) and Dharamveer alias Kale (30). Police recovered the cycles used by the duo to escape the spot and the blood stained clothes worn by them while committing the crime.
On Thursday, the IMT Manesar police received information regarding a body near the government school in Khoh village. When the police reached the spot, the man was found lying on the ground covered in blood with a cloth wrapped around his neck and deep wounds on his head. A large stone, used to commit the crime, was also found lying near his body. The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Ramcharan, a resident of Bhurthal Jal village in Rewari. According to the deceased’s family, their son would perform stunts on bicycle to make a living.
Police said Devdutt and Dharamveer had come to Khoh village four days ago to perform bicycle stunts when they had a fight with the deceased. Following this, the duo planned to kill Ramcharan and met him on July 6, got him drunk and hit his head with a stone and strangled him. The duo fled from the spot after killing him. The trio used to perform stunts together and knew each other since childhood, an officer said.
An FIR has been registered at IMT Manesar police station under sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC.
