State-of-the-art infrastructure project inaugurated in city

Thane: The Labindia Auditorium — a one-of-its-kind infrastructure project — was recently inaugurated in Thane by Dr Raghunath A Mashelkar in the presence of Shrikant Bapat, Chancellor of the Federation and CMD of Labindia Analytics Private Ltd and Labindia Group, along with Kanchan Bapat and BhalchandraSinh RaoRane, chairman of Federation of Industries of India.
Dr Mashelkar praised Shrikant for his philanthropy and support to the project, and lauded him for implementing the “Make in India” concept in the field of analytical instruments and promoting “Manufacturing Self Reliance”. Directors and other dignitaries who contributed substantially to infrastructure building and allied activities of the federation were also felicitated at the event. Mudit Dandwate, a dynamic young innovator, was awarded with the “All India Innovation Excellence Award” by Dr Mashelkar and Shrikant Bapat for creating a medical belt, which when kept below the mattress and operated could record vital parameters of the user. tnn
