Grammy-winning singer and rapper Doja recently decided to set the record straight with 'Stranger Things' star Noah Schnapp who shared her private messages on social media that involved her talking about his co-star Joseph Quinn.
For those unversed, the season four of the hit Netflix series featured Quinn as Eddie Munson, leader of the Hellfire Club, the official D&D club of Hawkins High School, and an electric guitar player in his band Corroded Coffin.
Although Quinn’s character dies in the season finale, his stint has garnered him newfound fame and created a dedicated fanbase.
Doja Cat, 26, had recently messaged Schnapp stating, "Noah can you tell Joseph to hit me up. Wait no. does he have a gf?"
"LMAOO slide into his dms," Schnapp, 17, replied.
She further wrote, that she doesn't know his Instagram or Twitter username, which was later provided by Schnapp.
However, things got messy when Schnapp, leaked the conversation on TikTok, but later deleted it after he was called out by Cat.
"I think that to be fair, first let’s be chill about it. Like Noah is a kid, but, I don’t even know how old he is, but he’s not even over – like there’s no way he’s over 21," she said on her Instagram live.
"But when you’re that young, you make mistakes. But the fact that this person, that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably like socially unaware and whack and like you know what I mean… that’s like borderline snake s**t, like that’s like weasel s**t. And I’m not saying that that encapsulates his entire personality, like Noah is not like the definition… like I wouldn’t imagine he is, maybe he is a snake, you know? But like, I didn’t see him that way," she added.
Speaking of Quinn, Doja clarified, "Yes he is attractive and I’m attracted to him but I hate the idea of like there’s something very weird, it’s like a very degrading and it’s exploitative behaviour and it’s embarrassing, it’s like super embarrassing."
Meanwhile Quinn and Schnapp are yet to comment on the same.
