Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 10:55AM

& Petrochemicals(up 4.36%), G S F C(up 3.84%), Fertilizers (up 1.76%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.57%), Sikko Industries(up 1.35%), & Fertilizers(up 1.05%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.03%), & Chemicals(up 0.86%), Madras Fertlizers(up 0.86%) and Agro Phos(up 0.78%) were among the top gainers.

& Fertilizers(down 0.60%), Coromandel International(down 0.07%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.04%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 74.45 points up at 16207.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 277.11 points at 54455.57 at around 10:55AM.

Larsen & Toubro(up 4.29%), Axis Bank(up 2.39%), NTPC(up 2.17%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.34%), ICICI Bank(up 1.27%), Coal India(up 1.18%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.16%), SBI Life(up 1.12%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.11%) and UPL Ltd(up 1.0%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.3%), JSW Steel(down 1.27%), Tata Steel(down 1.26%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.17%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.1%), Asian Paints(down 0.99%), Eicher Motors(down 0.85%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.65%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.43%) and Bajaj Finance(down 0.39%) were trading in the red.
