Heritage Foods(up 1.66%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 1.44%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.21%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(up 0.97%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 0.78%), Umang Dairies(up 0.70%), Tasty Bite Eatables(up 0.63%), Nestle India(up 0.58%), DFM Foods(up 0.49%) and Hindustan Unilever(up 0.47%) were among the top gainers.
JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 2.03%), Jyothy Labs(down 1.88%), Nakoda Group(down 0.91%), Emami(down 0.81%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 0.80%), Dodla Dairy(down 0.61%), Bajaj Consumer(down 0.59%), Hind.Foods(down 0.41%), Parag Milk(down 0.34%) and Gillette India(down 0.32%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 69.9 points up at 16202.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 254.9 points at 54433.36 at around 11:20AM.
Larsen & Toubro(up 4.58%), NTPC(up 2.35%), Axis Bank(up 2.18%), Grasim Industries(up 1.57%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.48%), Coal India(up 1.42%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.34%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.22%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.22%) and UPL Ltd(up 1.21%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki(down 1.46%), Eicher Motors(down 1.4%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.26%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.1%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.98%), Asian Paints(down 0.88%), Tata Steel(down 0.83%), JSW Steel(down 0.51%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.35%) and Bajaj Finserv(down 0.34%) were trading in the red.
