Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh): The rural population of Khajuraho will now get an advanced life support ambulance for transporting serious patients from remote villages to the nearest district hospital or medical college and hospital for treatment. The advanced ambulance has been equipped with all necessary equipment and manned by trained manpower.
The Madhya Pradesh government has given the gift of advanced life support to 108 ambulances to the people of Khajuraho city through Jai Ambe Emergency Service. This ambulance is equipped with cardiac units, portable ventilators, monitors, oxygen and other life-saving medical devices. On Friday, Khajuraho SDOP and in charge of Khajuraho police station flagged off the ambulance. On the occasion, Divisional Officer of 108 Ambulance Rahul Tiwari and District incharge Rohit Arjariya were present.
108 ambulance drivers Sanjay Sharma, Kamlesh Mishra, Arvind Tiwari, Mustaq Khan, EMT Hari Rampal, Arun Kumar Gupta, Uday Bhan Rathore, Savita Patel, CHC Doctor Dr Ajit Jadoun and all hospital staff were present on the spot.
