Actor Ranveer Singh never shies away from talking about his personal life. During his appearance in Disney+ Hotstar's 'Koffee With Karan 7', Ranveer, spilled the beans on his wedding night (suhaag raat) with wife Deepika Padukone.
The much-loved couple ceremoniously tied the knot on November 14, 2018, in Italy's Lake Como. The two wedded in a traditional south Indian ceremony, following which they also had a north Indian wedding a day after.
Ranveer appeared on the show with his ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ co-star, Alia Bhatt.
The first game of the chat show, hosted by famous Bollywood director Karan Johar was, titled 'Bingo'. Both Alia and Ranveer had to circle the things they did in life which included statements like, 'Didn't speak to my partner for over a week', 'woken up at an unknown place', 'Quickie in the vanity van' and many more set of statements.
Ranveer who circled the ‘quickie’ part spoke about his wedding night and revealed that he was “very on” despite the back-to-back ceremonies.
He said, “I was very on. We had a quickie in the vanity van. There’s a risk element involved, making it more exciting. for different degrees. I have different sex playlists. For sensuous, passionate, loving sex. Then for raunchy, randy, dirty sex. Different sex playlists.”
On the other hand, Alia had shared that "There's no such thing as suhaag raat. You're tired."
Ranveer and Deepika have starred together in a number of films including Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmaavat'.
In January 2021, the duo featured together in Kabir Khan's '83' with Ranveer essaying the role of World Cup-winning former Indian captain Kapil Dev while needless to say, Deepika played his on-screen wife.
On work front, Ranveer will star in the Rohit Shetty directorial 'Cirkus' alongside Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. The film is slated to release on the occasion of Christmas 2022.
Alia and Ranveer are also a part of Karan Johar's next directorial film, 'Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. The film is slated to release on February 11, 2023.
