Kerala reports 3,310 new Covid cases, 19 deaths

KOCHI: The state has reported 3,310 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday and 19 deaths. There were 4,172 recoveries, and the state now has 28,021 active cases.
The state’s test positivity rate (TPR) now is 15.44% after 21,435 tests were conducted. The average TPR in the last seven days is 16.78%.
Ernakulam reported the maximum number of new Covid cases with 736, followed closely by Thiruvananthapuram with 731 and Kollam with 380.
Kasaragod, which had seen a surge in cases during the first wave, continues to see less number of new Covid cases (49). The lowest number of Covid-19 cases were reported from Wayanad (29).
