Haryana: BJP removes IT cell in-charge for old tweet over Islam

GURUGRAM: The Haryana unit of BJP on Thursday removed its IT cell in-charge, Arun Yadav, over the issue of posting some controversial social media posts. He is learnt to have posted the tweets in May this year.
Yadav as well as Haryana BJP was trolled on social media handles on Thursday. There was also an online campaign demanding Yadav’s arrest.
This comes soon after the suspension of Nupur Sharma as the party spokesperson for her alleged disrespect to Prophet Muhammad and the expulsion of Naveen Jindal. Yadav’s sacking was just a single-line order issued by BJP’s office secretary Gulshan Chawla.
