Navi Mumbai: NMMC sees over 67 mm of rainfall on Thursday

As per the Disaster Management of CIDCO, there was no waterlogging on Thursday.

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area received an average of 67.6 mm of rainfall from Thursday at 8.30 am to Friday at 8.30 am. The maximum rainfall was reported in the Vashi ward at 88.2 mm. The civic jurisdiction also witnessed 6 trees fall, one fire call and waterlogging at one place on Wednesday.

As per the Disaster Management of CIDCO, there was no waterlogging on Thursday. So far, the NMMC area has already received a total of 1042.38 mm of rainfall. Meanwhile, the good rainfall in the catchment areas of the dam has pushed the level up to 73.10 meters. On Thursday, the catchment area saw 168.20 mm of rainfall and so far, a total of 948 mm of rainfall has been received.

Airoli-52.10 mm

Vashi-88.2 mm

Koparkhairane – 79.4 mm
