NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:45AM
& Industries(up 2.83%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries(up 2.31%), Sakthi Sugars(up 2.29%), MAGADHSUGAR(up 2.18%), K.M.Sugar Mills(up 2.01%), DCM Shriram Industries(up 1.99%), Ugar Sugar Works(up 1.98%), Shree Renuka Sugars(up 1.43%), KCP Sugar & Industries(up 1.41%) and Mawana Sugars(up 1.26%) were among the top gainers.
Simbhaoli Sugars(down 1.15%), & Chemicals(down 0.92%), & Chemicals(down 0.63%), Balrampur Chini Mills(down 0.52%) and Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(down 0.29%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 130.55 points up at 16120.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 432.93 points at 54183.9 at around 10:45AM.
Titan Company Ltd(up 6.03%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 2.38%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.35%), NTPC(up 2.09%), Asian Paints(up 2.07%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.94%), UPL Ltd(up 1.92%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.82%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.71%) and Larsen & Toubro(up 1.67%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv(down 1.0%), Reliance Industries(down 0.57%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.49%), Cipla(down 0.44%), Axis Bank(down 0.24%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.22%) and SBI Life(down 0.11%) were trading in the red.
