Navi Mumbai: Even-odd parking in sector 19 in Airoli

Earlier, the Rabale traffic unit had written to Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation regarding the even-odd parking from the Water tank to Ramdev Complex at sector 19.

The Navi Mumbai Traffic department has issued a notice regarding even and odd parking at sector 19 in Airoli. As per the notice, from the Water tank to Ramdev Complex at sector 19, there is even-odd parking from July 7.

Earlier, the Rabale traffic unit had written to Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation regarding the even-odd parking from the Water tank to Ramdev Complex at sector 19. The civic body carried out the measurement along the stretch and found the length of the road is 333 meters where 66 vehicles can be parked. The civic body also made drawings along the stretch for even-odd parking.

According to traffic police, due to uneven parking along the stretch, there has always been traffic congestion and due to this ambulance and senior citizens were facing a lot of difficulties.

Finally, the traffic department has issued a notice regarding the even-odd parking along the stretch. However, the decision is not applicable to police vehicles, fire engines, ambulances and other essential vehicles.
