Nattu Kaka's character got casted in the form of Kiran Bhatt, but what happened to the Dayaben character? Then, why was producer Asit Modi painting the town red that he is going to bring in a Dayaben? What happened to Rakhi Vijan who was in hot consideration to get into Disha Vakani's shoes? Is Asit Modi scared to cast anybody in Dayaben's role, fearing that she will not be accepted? Or is it that most actors are not comfortable getting into this show because of too many exclusivity clauses- yeh mat karo, woh mat karo? There are too many questions cropping up on the 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' casting and the fact is that Asit Modi has never given any concrete answers.
Well, what we at ETimes are here to tell you today, besides having herewith asked Asit Modi the above questions is, that there is currently no movement on the Dayaben casting. Nothing has moved in the recent past on the casting of Rakhi. In short, the Dayaben character continues to remain in pause mode.

And of course, there are more questions to ask: Why is Raj Anadkat (the hugely popular Tappu) not shooting since the past three months, when he still hasn't officially quit?

Why have the auditions to find a new Taarak not begun even after 2 months of Shailesh Lodha's walking out? In fact, we are also here today to tell you that the auditions for Taarak's role which were about to get underway have been shown the red flag. Yes, the Taarak casting has also gone into pause mode.

There are other actors too whose track in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is abruptly stopped and started and they have no clue as to what's happening.

The biggest shock is that we hear that the makers of this show still hope in their heart of hearts that Disha Vakani and Shailesh Lodha will return to their fold!
