Jyothy Labs(up 4.98%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 4.77%), Dangee Dums(up 4.16%), Emami(up 3.25%), Britannia Industries(up 2.76%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.48%), Godrej Consumer Products(up 2.25%), Gillette India(up 2.06%), Nestle India(up 1.71%) and Hind.Foods(up 1.59%) were among the top gainers.
Nakoda Group(down 2.70%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 2.07%), Heritage Foods(down 1.13%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 0.91%), Dodla Dairy(down 0.22%), Zydus Wellness(down 0.20%) and Dabur India(down 0.08%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 84.55 points up at 15895.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 312.02 points at 53446.37 at around 11:25AM.
Bajaj Finance(up 3.11%), Britannia Industries(up 2.78%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.6%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.48%), Eicher Motors(up 2.47%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.18%), Asian Paints(up 2.11%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.92%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.9%) and Bajaj Auto(up 1.85%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 5.69%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.9%), NTPC(down 2.13%), Tata Steel(down 2.06%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 2.03%), Coal India(down 1.92%), JSW Steel(down 1.61%), Reliance Industries(down 0.94%), ITC(down 0.12%) and UPL Ltd(down 0.11%) were trading in the red.
