Guna (Madhya Pradesh): District collector Frank Noble has issued orders for termination of contract services of an employment assistant posted here at Kakrua Gram Panchayat under Aron Janpad of Guna district for violation of the model code of conduct.
According to further details, Shivbhan Singh Yadav, employment assistant, posted a video focused on election campaigning against an alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during Panchayat Election. According to the viral video, Singh was witnessed distributing election-related campaign material. He also accepted the same in writing and further said that brother was contesting for the post of Sarpanch in Kakrua village.
Following which, the Chief Executive Officer, attached Yadav to Janpad Panchayat Aaron in view of fairness and impartiality in elections. According to the order issued by the District Collector and the district election officer, contract services of assistant employment officers posted at the Kakrua village have been terminated. Singh, however, could make first appeal to the Divisional Commissioner within a period of 30 days against said order. Model code of conduct has been in place in view of three tiers of Panchayat elections 2022.
