Prof Naela Quadri Baloch (head covered) with freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose’s kin at martyrs’ statues at Jagraon bridge
LUDHIANA: A delegation comprising prof Naela Quadri Baloch, who is a senior leader of the Balochistan freedom movement and lives in exile in Canada, and Rajyashree Chaudhari, national president of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM), among others, paid homage to martyrs Sukhdev, Bhagat Singh and Rajguru at their statues at Jagraon bridge here on Tuesday.
Talking to the mediapersons, prof Naela Quadri, PM (in exile) of Balochistan, said they came to the freedom fighters’ land and were struggling for their freedom. She added, “It is an honour to come to freedom fighters land and being accompanied by great freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose’s kin. Pakistan has occupied Balochistan and it is not a part of the country.” She accused China of supporting Pakistan in its designs and carrying out genocide of Baloch people.
The kin of Subhas Chandra Bose said the delegation was going to the Golden Temple and would seek blessings there and also go to Valmiki Temple. She added that they will also pay respect at pilgrimage land of freedom at Jallianwala Bagh. The delegation started from Delhi on Tuesday and will return there on Wednesday morning.
