Mhow (Madhya Pradesh): voters braved early morning rain to cast their votes in the two municipal bodies of the tehsil Mhowgaon and Manpur where elections were held today in a peaceful manner.
Even though one could see long queues of voters in the morning yet the pace slackened thereafter as till noon only 35% voting had taken place for Mhowgaon municipal council. It rose to nearly 50% by 3 pm.
Anganwadi workers could be seen checking the temperature of the staff and voters with the oximeter.

Sub-divisional officer Akshat Jain was responsible for the election of Mhowgaon and Manpur Municipal Council.
In the nearby Manpur Municipal Council, peaceful voting took place, where till 3 pm, almost 70% of the voting was done. Proper arrangements were made at the polling stations. Election officer, tehsildar Abhishek Sharma and naib tehsildar Vivek Soni, were on the move the whole time inspecting polling stations., Additional superintendent of police Shashikant Kanakne along with his team also kept visiting the polling stations.
