Aldi and Woolworths launch 5G Telstra network plan

Mobile virtual network operators Aldi and Woolworths announce they are now offering 5G Telstra network plans.

Aldi
Aldi in its website stated: "We use parts of the Telstra 5G, 4G, and 3G to deliver Aldimobile coverage to mroe than 98.8% of the Australian population."

The 5G plan is the most expensive at $55. It offers 60GB of data + continuous data rollover, 30-day expirty, unlimited standard calls and SMS, unlimited standard international calls and SMS to 20 countries, and 3-in-1 SIM.

Aldi's other plans are unaffected and do not offer 5G as of this time.

Woolworths
Woolworths on the other hand offers 5G priced at $59. The plan comes with 60GB of data, unlimited calls and text (standard national), and unlimited standard international calls and text to 22 selected destinations.

Other plans are unaffected as well.

Last May, it was reported that Boost Mobile was the first Telstra MVNO to launch a 5G plan.

Telstra also announced in that month that its MVNO partners would be able to start selling 5G plans from July.
