Bollywood actress Radhika Apte, who has been a crusader for body positivity, recently took to Instagram and posted a fiery picture that left her fans and followers gawking.
Radhika shared a still from her beach vacation as she flaunted her toned physique in an aquamarine bikini.
She captioned it as, “Missing the (wave emoji) #backtowork #phew #holidaynostalgia #summertime”
Radhika had recently revealed that just like her contemporaries she was asked to go under the knife to make changes in her appearance.
In an interview with Film Companion, Radhika shared, “When I was new, I was told to do lots of jobs on my body and face. First meeting I had, I was told to change my nose. Second meeting I had I was told to get a boob job. Then that continued, then I was told to do something to my legs, then something to my jaw, and something to refill somewhere here (points to her cheeks) then Botox.”
Radhika has made a place for herself in Bollywood with her prowess as an artist. She entered the industry in 2005 with a small role in the film 'Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi'.
Over the years, she has also been a part of several Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu and Bengali films. Radhika has also left a mark internationally and on OTT.
The actress recently wrapped 'Vikram Vedha' starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan.
Apte is also returning to her Marathi roots with the film 'Medium Spicy'.
The film stars Lalit Prabhakar, Sai Tamhankar and Parna Pethe.
According to source close to the development, it is because director Mohit Takalkar, a well-known playwright and Radhika have previously worked together in Marathi plays.
Earlier Radhika has appeared in Marathi film 'Gho Mala Asla Hava', 'Tukaram', and 'Postcard' which were released in 2014. 'Medium Spicy' would be her return to Marathi cinema after eight years.
