Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is celebrating his 37th birthday today (July 6). He is currently in the US with actress-wife Deepika Padukone.
Social media platforms are flooded with sweet birthday wishes for Ranveer.
Filmmaker Karan Johar also shared a special video on Instagram to wish him. In the video Ranveer and Alia, who will be seen as Rocky and Rani in Karan's upcoming film, recreate one of the iconic scenes of 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'.
The video was shot on the sets of Karan's most-awaited chat show 'Koffee With Karan 7'.
"It’s our Rocky’s rocking birthday and to make it even more special, we have his Rani by our side! Catch more of their laughter with me on the couch on the first episode of #Hotstarspecials #KoffeeWithKaran S7, starting tomorrow on @disneyplushotstar," Karan captioned the video.
'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' also stars Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan, amongst others. It brings back Karan as a director after close to six years as his last film was 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
The film is set to arrive in cinema halls on February 10, 2023.
The team had commenced filming for the movie in August. The film marks the first collaboration between Karan and Ranveer, who were set to team up for the historical drama 'Takht'. This is also Karan's first collaboration with Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra.
