Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:50AM

& Chemicals(up 2.62%), Fertilizers(up 1.41%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.33%), & Fertilizers(up 0.92%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.72%), & Fertilizers(up 0.63%), & Petrochemicals(up 0.58%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 0.57%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.51%) and Sikko Industries(up 0.50%) were among the top gainers.

Madras Fertlizers(down 3.07%), KRISHANA(down 1.93%), & Fertilizers(down 1.61%), Agro Phos(down 1.50%), Coromandel International(down 0.85%), G S F C(down 0.23%) and Aries Agro(down 0.13%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 155.15 points up at 15990.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 517.36 points at 53752.13 at around 10:50AM.

Hindalco Industries(up 3.32%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.38%), UPL Ltd(up 2.31%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.28%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 2.17%), Tata Steel(up 2.14%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.9%), Tata Motors(up 1.84%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.67%) and Enterprises(up 1.61%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Britannia Industries(down 1.04%), ITC(down 0.92%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.54%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.37%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.2%) and Bajaj Auto(down 0.13%) were trading in the red.
