Covid-19: Chennai Corporation to collect Rs 500 fine from people not wearing masks in these places

CHENNAI: The Greater Chennai Corporation has made it mandatory for everyone to wear a mask in crowded places and in public places in view of the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the city. A fine of Rs 500 will be collected from those who don’t wear masks.
The civic body has said masks are mandatory in all public spaces, commercial establishments, malls, theatres, shops and market spaces.
Also the owners have to instruct the employees and customers to ensure they wear masks or face action.
