Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Owing to the waterlogging, eight polling booths for the IMC elections have been shifted ahead of voting on Wednesday.
For the convenience of the polling personnel and voters, the polling booths whose locations have been changed include polling station No.s 700, 701, 712, 361, 362, 365, 366 and 367.
According to information received from the collector and District Election Office, polling booths No.s 700, 701 and 712 located in the Government Advanced Secondary School, No. 96, Nehru Nagar, have been set up at Deepika Higher Secondary School, Nehru Nagar.
Similarly, polling booth No.s 361 and 362 located in Motilal Nehru Scheduled Caste Hostel, Sanwaria Nagar, have been shifted to rooms one and two of The Ira New Public School, Suvidhi Nagar.
Similarly, polling booth No.s 365, 366 and 367 located in primary and secondary schools, Sanwaria Nagar, have been shifted to room No.s 3, 4 and 5 of The Ira New Public School, Suvidhi Nagar. Permission in this regard has also been obtained from the State Election Commission.
